Card Club Cards for October

Well, my card club no longer exists. We are now a group that is planning to get together every once in a while and scrapbook together. Last month was the last card club exchange and having had a baby just a week before, I missed it, but still made cards and had my friend exchange them for me. Here are the cards I made for the last card swap.

Rocket Card

My son, Braden, will be 4 next week and is currently in love with rockets. To celebrate his birthday I threw him a party last Saturday.

Here is the invitation I made for the party. I created it digitally and then printed it off and mounted it on orange cardstock.Here is the card that I made for him.

I even made a rocket cake for the big day. It was so much fun. Braden loved seeing all the rocket stuff and loves his new rocket toy from his Grandma and Grandpa.

Baby Shower Invitation & Thank You Cards

I made this baby shower invitation for the shower that my mom and sister threw for me last Saturday.In addition to the invitation I made a lot of "thank you" cards, which is very much needed after a baby shower. I am glad I got all of these made last week, because my energy level has since gone from a 10 to about a 2.
Thanks to all my family and friends that have given me support and gifts. Everything is very much appreciated. I can't wait to have my baby girl here!

August Birthday Cards

My Dad's birthday was last Saturday and my brother-in-law Robert has his birthday coming up next week. I made them similar birthday cards.

My Dad received a little something extra inside of his card....two tickets for 'one hug and one kiss' from each of my kids. When I asked my boys what they wanted to give Grandpa for his birthday they both told me a guitar. While it is true that Grandpa does love to play the guitar, he already has a couple of them and they are a bit out of our budget. Later my younger son, Mason told me he wanted to give Grandpa two tickets... so that is what Grandpa received this year from Braden and Mason. Let me also add that he loved the gift.

These cards were made for my card club next month. I am currently working on October's card club cards and just realized that I have a whole lot more work ahead of me because I have a lot of birthday cards to make, not to mention Father's day is Sunday. I better get to work.

Scrapbooking Our 2008 Disneyland Vacation

I had a great time creating this scrapbook. It was like reliving the vacation all over again. My kids love looking at the book with me and remembering how much fun we had at Disneyland. They are always asking to go back. Someday we will. Hopefully, in the next couple years or so. Anyway, I know the picture quality is terrible, but I hope that you can still get an idea of what the pages look like. Enjoy!
